Irene, Thank you for writing. That must have been hard and hurtful for you to go through, and I’m sorry you had to go through that.

Please try and remember that our God is an awesome God and I have seen it over and over and over again, how he can take what we think is our last hope and turn it into good Irene.

As you study and learn the truth and begin to deprogram your mind, God will begin to start a fire in you, where you can now be a witness to the Witnesses.

You see, many witnesses feel as you do, but are afraid to say anything or learn or question what the Watchtower really teaches, but deep in their hearts, they know something is not right, but they hang on because they feel damned, never to wake up.

The question is… What do you do with the gilt you now feel for leading your son into the JW? Am I right?

You give it to the Lord and let him fight the battle. I know the word “Lord” may send shivers up your spin. It’s not a word you’re use to, but as you learn, you will grow. You don’t need me or this web site and anyone else because it’s all revealed in the Bible.

Get yourself a New Kings James Version and just read. If you don’t have one or need one, send me your info on our contact page and I will send you one.

Read and pray. Trust me, you don’t need anyone but God. Trust in Him and Him alone and he will direct your path.

I’m actually so excited for you because I know how God will use those who just have faith in him to change the lives of their family, friends and the world.

Last night I was disfellowshiped. After 35 years of TRYING to understand that Jehovah is working through this organisation. I realise it is untrue, I have also lost my 3 precious grandchildren. I feel responserble for bringing my son up in the TRUTH. I fear that the mind control they have over him will hurt his children.However I feel so relieved that I have finally come to my senses.

I’m just noticing that this conversation took place at the beginning of the year. Plus I noticed that there’s not a strong indication of Katie being a born again believer. I would say, that could be part of the attraction to her. I hope it went well.

whoa. I’m responding to Josiah. I have just learned extensively about Jehovahs witnesses today, and I came from the opposite point you have presented. I used to only know about a few odd behaviours, but I must agree, this is a very dangerous cult. Listen to them and you will have peace?! I don’t know about anyone else, but when I hear a bunch of lies from satan and see people believing them, I get alittle upset. It doesn’t give me peace! Only the prince of peace who is Jesus Christ who is truth, gives me peace. And meditate on what they say? Why would someone encourage someone else to open their mind to deception? Are you Jehovahs witness? The Word of God says to keep our thoughts obedient to Christ, and to cast down any imaginations that exalts itself against the knowledge of Christ. That in no way means to meditate on it! btw, I would suggest that the person being hasseled just simply tell them that you are (if you are) a born again believer, in the love with the Lord Jesus Christ, and they’re wasting their time, barking up the wrong tree, will never have a hope in their h*ll of converting you! Just confront them. Don’t even listen to their lies. If you never answer the door, they probably see you as a follow up, and they’re gonna need a yes or a no. Just be careful. If you feel this way, it probably wouldn’t be beneficial debating them. Better off not to give them the chance to try to poison your mind.

I was a J.W. for 20 years & left it about 30 years ago & my 2 oldest daughters won’t let me see my 6 grandkids or 2 great grandkids. They are very cruel to me & say that I am dead & show no affection or love toward me. It is a dangerous cult & has torn my family of 5 children apart. Stay away from them.

You not listening to them is what has led to all the troubles you have…listen to them and the feeling of being harrased will go away.

People say all kind of stuff about Jehovahs witnesses and blow things out of proportion.But the truth always heart…
I dont want to sound like am favouring JW’S..ask them all stuff you need to know, they answer you and go…then meditate on wat they tell you and compare.

Listen to them and you will have peace in your mind.

i read this stroy and yes its true i have a step mom who is j.w.when my step sister kids need to be raisd by my dad and step mom she would not take them unless my dad went to the hall my dad try it for a while and finely said no and told her to bad and they rised the kids any way and i tryed to go with her and i stop i could not do it i went back to my own church and she is still with them j.w.and we just tell her if thats whats you want but donot tell us were wrong

There is a very good book and DVD set “Reasoning From the Scriptures with the Jehovah’s Witnesses” by a Dr. Ron Rhodes. The DVD is an excitant resource to have, it gives you all the information this site dose and more. The URL of the page this resource may be obtained from is http://www.equip.org/store/details.asp?SKU=DVD730 or from Dr. Ron Rhodes site the URL I am not sure of but I purchased it through Christian Research Institute http://www.equip.org The DVD explains how to handle the those dreaded door knocks in a loving Christian way. As Dr Ron Rhodes said in an interview your meeting with the ones on the other side of your door could be the last chance they have before they go to a lost eternity so it is very important that we as Christians at least attempt to show them the results of not having the salvation freely given to all of us through Christ and Him crucified.

I have read this site following a problem that I am having

members of this religion keep visiting me at my house: I have not replied to the door for one year and am feeling harrassed…

I have nothing against any faith or religion but i feel that my life is my own destiny…

The concentrated interest in my life is bothering me…please can you give me advice anyone??
