Why Do We Have a Forum?
EMail This PostIt seems many people do not know what a forum is, so I wanted to let everyone know. The forum is very similar to this web log, (Blog) with the exception being you post your own articles! That’s right, you start your own article and people comment on it.
I cannot tell you how many questions and comments we get in email, but they are never seen by anyone but us. It really is a shame too, because there is a common thread among a lot of them. We have people looking for help, questions, or just sharing a part of their experiences being in the Jehovah’s Witnesses and how it affected their lives or how they came to the truth. Folks, this is what a forum is for! I cannot tell you how encouraging it is for others to see that they are not alone! Knowing that there is someone who understands, will pray for them and check in on them to see how they are. It’s a building of friendships and a community. Please think about making a post instead of sending and email. We still monitor the forum and answer questions, but there are others that have been there.
This site gets about 10,000 hits a day and it may not be a lot in internet terms, but it keeps us busy. There are also a bunch of talented Christians out there that can help. If you are interested, we are also looking for volunteers to help write articles for the site and be moderators in the forum. I hope you understand when we say we cannot take anyone, but we are looking for people who have a knowledge of the Watchtower and it’s doctrines, but most importantly have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, a willingness to learn and a heart for the Jehovah’s Witnesses.
