The Trinity

The Trinity has come up in a few emails, so we wanted to touch on the subject. I am the Sr. Pastor of Calvary Chapel Crossfields and have had many conversations with Jehovah’s Witnesses over the years. The Trinity is a concept that the Watchtower has used over their entire history to discredit Christians that adhere to it.
The funny thing about the Trinity is that nobody can really understand it, and it is not shameful to admit that. If we could understand every fine detail about Gods character then He would cease to be God and we would end up usurping His role. There are mysteries about spiritual things that have yet to be discovered such as what the 7 thunders uttered in revelation that the angel forbid john to write about and what it will be like living in eternity with our spiritual bodies.
The problem with Jehovah’s Witnesses is that they claim to know everything about God, which is totally absurd. Their understanding of the Trinity is fallacious because of their preconceived bias regarding the deity of Christ [jn10:33, jn8:58-59, is9:6, rom9:5, titus2:13, etc] and the personal nature of the Holy Spirit [He teaches (1cor2:13), convicts (jn16:8), can be lied to (acts5:3)], etc. This is not the characteristics of an ‘active force’ [You can live on Paradise Earth 1982 pg 40] such as electricity (which Jehovah’s Witnesses ascribe to the Holy Spirit); this is the characteristics of a personal being! When was the last time you lied to electricity?! Peter even said regarding the Holy Sprit when you lie to Him, you are lying to God (acts5:4)]. God does, however, give us a glimpse of His triune nature used throughout scripture: The multiple uses of Elohim when describing Himself ["IM" in Hebrew denotes plurality, Elohim literally means Gods], the use of the word “echad” in Deuteronomy 6:4 for “the Lord is [one]” referring to God [echad means a compound (not absolute unity) in Hebrew as opposed to "yachid" which means "only one" which Moses did not use in this passage when referring to God, etc].The Jehovah’s Witnesses argument will be that Christians over the years described God as a trinity which was a take-off on pagan society’s trinities. (Reconciliation 1928 pg 101) How amusing, Gods people copying off of satan? Who came first? Starting from the ‘beginning’, satan has always copied God, not the reverse: God made sex inside marriage good, satan has perverted it in our society to be destructive:
Gods number for perfection and completion is 7, satan made his 6: Jesus is the Messiah, satan’s antichrist will be the false messiah that will dupe the nation Israel for a time, AND God exists in 3 persons [as we do: we are flesh, mind, and spirit (and they operate individually at times but we are "one" person)] so satan copied it and perverted it with the Egyptian / Babylonians false trinities and with the final false trinity of the dragon, antichrist[beast] and false prophet in the book of revelation in end times.
It’s also important not to fall into the trap that they set regarding the ‘original Greek and Hebrew’. When they are ‘on the ropes’ in a debate they are trained to say that you cant understand the full meaning of Gods word unless you know the original Greek and Hebrew [as if they have more insight in interpretation than the hundreds of bible translators over the years that all agree on the meaning of the scriptures]. It’s not a bad thing to learn some basic Greek and Hebrew since they aren’t that difficult to learn, I have. What’s interesting is that when I use these languages and call their bluff, they all do the same thing: they look at their watches and say “we have to go, we have another appointment”.

I don’t think anyone or anybody has the right to produce another bible. The only one that has that right in GOD. The watchtower has a bible to go along with their teachings. HOW SAD….All these people are being brain washed….The only true book is the bible….We can’t play GOD..JESUS could of been the riches man in the world..with worldly processions. But,he was’nt he was as plain as could be…It seems that everything about religion is about money…My belief is money can’t get you to heaven any faster…IF THAT WERE THE CASE WHY WAS’NT JESUS CAUGHT UP IN THE MATERISM OF HIS WORLD? Could it be that all of that was’nt important to him? Religion is to much about money…SO, WHO DO YOU BELIEVE?
EXPLANATION OF TRINITY FROM BIBLE VIEW.
See 1Jh.4 v.7 KJV. Also reasoning from the scripture, we have “And so shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife and they shall be one flesh Gen.2v.24.
The husband is different from the wife in many ways. The husband is the head and the wife must be in subjection. And so is Christ and God. Jehovah is the Father, above Jesus. The son – Jesus is in subjection to the Father. They are two separate being but these two are one together with the Holy Spirit. If we can understand why God called husband and wife as one then can we fully understand it – that is why Jehovah, Jesus and Holy Spirit are one.
A husband that truely loves his wife whatever he has belong to the wife. And so is Christ and God. Jesus said all that the Father has are mine Jh. He share of the Father’s attributes, that is why they are one Isa.9v6
We also will share of Christ’s attributes (light of the world, salt of the world ‘et cetera’) Hence his prayer that we be one, even as he and the Father are one. Rev.2v.26-29 & Rev. 3v21. We will be fashioned like Christ as he has shared in our earthly body, so we will share in his glorious body. As it is written and we beholding him are changed from glory to glory.
Hence we, Holy Spirit, Jesus and Jehovah we will be one, amen.
The Father’s will of making man in his image will then be completed – knowing good and evil Gen.3v22, having part to take of the fruit of the tree of life Rev.2v7- so we can live forever and we will then be God fully as against ‘god’. We will share of Christ and impliedly God’s glorious body.
So you can’t understand the concept of the trinity? God did that for a reason.Can you understand the concept or envision eternity.How can you see the end of the world when it is almost round,How can you invision the end of outerspace? Can you truly define the process as it occurs of a deja-vu and why it occurs.I have the answers.It is God’s humor,having fun with us. Prove me wrong. In jhn 17 vs 3 it reads: “17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent forth.”
Does this scripture not show that god and jesus are 2 diffrent beings.
When jesus said Father y have you forsaken me was he talking to himself?
When jesus also said you can only approach the lord through me and again in revelation jesus is seen sitting at the right hand side of gods throne – sorry i’m gonna need more convincing if i were to beleive the trinty – any ideas???
Jesus says “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.” (John 16:13, ESV)
Referring to the Holy Spirit, Jesus uses the personal pronoun “he”. The Holy Spirit is without question a person and not some mystical “force”.

sacrifice Via the Mass is your redemption. Turn back least i take my lampstands of gold away.( the Church )which holds back
Satan and the Antichrist scripture Via man made Religions.
Thus the Anti Christ has set up his theology to lure the world
away from the true light of Jesus and your salvation.
unforgivable sin? is that of the blasphemy of the Holy spirit! Christ Will come after the false Christ comes to restore his Kingdom and that of the Almight Father.
Why? Because of man made religious theologies are Demonically inspired by Satan, Pray that your mind is blessed by the Holy
