EMail This PostIt always seems to be the worst possible time. You’re hard at work on your Saturday morning project, rushing out the door to get the kids to baseball practice or you have just settled down to take some time to yourself and relax. That’s when the knock at the door interrupts your schedule. You peer out the window and get this sinking feeling when you see the unmistakable look of the people at the door. Its not your neighbor bringing you a nice tray of cookies or the mailman with a package, it’s the Jehovah’s Witnesses coming to share with you some insight on the Bible.
If you’re a Christian, you don’t want to be rude so you turn the lights off and with a quick sshhhh to the family, you pretend your not home. Perhaps you nicely open the door and tell them that you’re not interested, while quickly closing it as they try to engage you in conversation. Maybe you even want to give them a peace of your mind so you throw open the door, give them a few verses about hell and where they’re going and slam the door before you hear a peep.
Either way you want to put it, the Jehovah’s Witness just use this type of behavior to prove that they’re the true Christians and you’re not. As they shake the dust from their feet and walk off to the next house, you think to yourself that if you could just get through to them, maybe you wouldn’t have to act that way. Trying to justify our actions leaves us feeling guilty and wishing there was better way. We’re here to tell you that there is!
Most people act this way because at one time or another they’ve allowed a Jehovah’s Witness into their home. Once in the home, they have managed to have their own beliefs and knowledge of the Bible shuffled up like a deck of cards and then handed back to them until it resembles nothing of what they thought it was.
If not equipped to deal with the “facts” they lay before you, you can very easily start to question your own beliefs. This is precisely why this web site was started. It’s to equip you with the full armor of God. It is our desire to expose the false doctrines of the Jehovah’s Witness through true Biblical interpretation. You do not need any other book to learn about God, his expectations or anything else for that matter. All you need to do is let the Bible interpret itself and that is what we hope to teach you to do.

Hi there,
Regarding the last paragraph…I understand that you feel the need to have the “full armor” of God to deal with a fellow human being who is following a path of which you are not in congruence. I, too, do not feel congruent with the words and beliefs of Jehovah’s Witnesses. When I am approached at the door, I simply say “No thank you” and go about my business. There is no reason to be afraid of how to behave, or what to say, or what we know. The bible is simply a tool that some have used in congruence with the intended path, and some have not. We all know whether something is meant to be or not. Intuition is clear when we are completely present. Hiding from, arguing with, or lying to another fellow human being is unneccessary, when we have faith in the universal truth. With that, I do not need to defend myself against anyone or anything. I am at peace with simply being here, and acknowledging we are all connected on this planet. Remember that all sentient beings want to be free from suffering and want happiness…
False writings will be revealed in time. There are plenty of misinterpretations of the Bible as well, due to human error in translation, the course of time, and oral tradition. There is nothing necessarily wrong with any of this, it is simply information. Many people believe the writings of the Bible to be infallible prophecy, even recent texts. I believe that prophecy can come from many sources, including nature and our own spirit, when given the chance through meditation and prayer.
Ultimately, only you can choose whether someone else’s opinion about how to live in the world resonates with you.
I am curious. Have you been a part of the Jehovah’s Witnesses in the past? Is this your reason for revealing the scandal etc? I have noticed that happening with the LDS church as well, and was just wondering what your motivation was.

Hi Michelle, I guess I feel you have spoken like a true New Age believer. Many people see the Bible as some book they use to get to a higher power within themselves. You say that “we all know whether something is meant to be or not”, but I wonder where you get that from? Typically, people use this term after the fact. The Bible shows things from beginning to end and the end has yet to come. However, it is the word of God and we do have a choice.
For example, if you were to break up a relationship and it ended, one might say that “it was never meant to be”. But that really is about freedom of choice. Had you decided to stay and fight for it, then maybe it would be different! God really does give us freedom of choice!
You say that hiding, arguing, or lying to another person is unnecessary when we have faith in universal truth. What is universal truth? Do you mean there are laws that God put in place for us to follow, or do you mean that truth is relative to that person? Many people think that what’s true for you may not be truth for me and there is no “absolute truth”.
There have been no false writings in the Bible if you read a good translation. The “New World Translation” from the Jehovah’s Witness is a good example of a translation that has been changed to fit their belief system. This was evident when the dead sea scrolls where found! There were no errors!
So I’m not sure where you are getting your info from. While all other translations were right on the money, the NWT was incorrect. So false writings were revealed, and people still read them.
Prophecy only comes from the Word of God. Please let us know about the prophecy from nature, since I just don’t see it. Trusting in ourselves to reveal a prophecy through meditation is a basic New Age statement.
My mother was a JW and that is my motivation. I hope that through this site others will be saved from the false teaching. I guess I feel at this point you think there is no heaven of hell, but according to the Bible there is. It’s real, it’s where people who don’t believe in Jesus Christ go, and I only hope I can turn people away from that fate because of the deception of the Jehovah’s Witness god, which is the Watchtower.
